Roof Cleaning

We try very hard to improve the appearance of roofs while extending its life. In order to accomplish this, we use a safe, low-impact cleaning process to remove mold, mildew, moss, and lichens. The process involves the following four steps.
Apply a chemical pre-soak to soften and kill the unsightly organic material.
Perform a gentle rinse to remove substantial organic material.
Apply a time-release mold/moss inhibitor to the roof surfaces. This inhibitor is applied at a very low pressure with special emphasis at the leading edge of the shingles to ensure over time (six months to one year) that mold and moss is killed. This will minimize the chance of ice dams during the winter months.
Rinse interior of gutters to remove accumulated organic material.
